Thinking about having an author visit? I’d love to visit all of the little learners in your life! Below are a few presentation ideas. Have something more specific in mind that supports your curriculum? Just let me know and we can brainstorm something together. I love to change things up!
All of my presentations start with the importance of sharing positive messages and the impact we all can make as global citizens. I even share my definition of a global citizen! Don’t worry, it all comes together in a very meaningful way!
I’m best suited for grades PK - 5, but am always up for boring some middle school students, too (because does anything really capture a middle-schooler’s attention?!). Truth be told, I’ve had a pretty interesting life and have made a few courageous choices that have gotten me to where I am today. I’m always happy to talk about that with older kiddos!
READINGS & SIGNINGS
How fun to have an author come into your class and do a reading! And, guess what? I’d love to be that author! This is perfect for schools that want to introduce an author to their students, but are short on time. For those who pre-order my books, I will sign and personalize their copy. Best for preschool - 2nd grade.
WRITING PROCESS & INTERACTIVE STORY
Let’s create a story together! A brief introduction or review of the writing process is how we’ll start this presentation and we’ll also go over the key components of storytelling. Next? The student’s and I will create a story together. It will most likely be very silly, but will pretty much always be super engaging!

Let’s have a conversation about being an entrepreneur and author/illustrator! I talk about all things creative, a typical day at work (including writer’s block), what I always carry with me, creating a book one step at a time, publishing a book, and the different professionals I work with regularly.
